Sharon Apopa is the eleventh child born to the late Evangelist Reginald Smith and Missionary Phyllis Smith. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Lee College, Cleveland Tenn., a Master's degree in Social Work from West Virginia University, a masters Degree in Management from Webster University, and is currently completing her D.Min Thesis from Gordon -Conwell Theological Seminary on "Effective Ministry to the Post-lesbian Christian Woman".

She has been recognized in International Who's Who Historical Society of professionals 2004-2005 and Empire Who’s Who 2005-2006 Edition and Bermuda’s Who's Who. She was also recognized as Bermuda's outstanding Social Worker 2007.  Also in 2006, Sis Apopa was invited to speak at the Royal College of Nursing Accreditation Meeting, where she was recognized for her team effort in establishing a Nurse Training Certification program in Bermuda.

Sharon is currently employed as a Programme Manager for the Bermuda Hospitals Board in charge of Child and Adolescent Services, a psychiatric outpatien, inpatient and Day program for children. For thirteen years she served her community as the Director of Clinical Services for the Women's Resource Centre of Bermuda, and from 2006 to 2007 she served as the Chairmen of the Board. 

Sis. Apopa has a twin Sister Mrs. Caron Assan, and together they own and operate Twin Ministries. Twin Ministries has hosted a popular radio show entitled Women in Motion, designed and developed The Women's Treatment Centre of Bermuda, ( a drug rehabilitation program for women), and offered numerous workshops and seminars on Inner Healing for women.

Sis. Sharon was a faithful member of the New Testament Church of God in Bermuda for thirty-three years. During this time she served, as administrative assistant to Bishop Rev. DR. Goodwin C. Smith and than to Rev. William A. Lee Jr., in addition to serving in many other facets of the church, In June 2006 Sis. Apopa felt a pull of God to serve in another part of the Kingdom. In September 2006 Rev. Dr. Maria Seaman gave Birth to Shekinah Worship International Ministries Bermuda, where Sis. Apopa now serves as an Elder and member of the board of Trustees.

Sis. Apopa was invited to join W.O.V.E.N. in 2006, and has enjoyed working for Kingdom Building alongside Rev. Marilyn Lambe ever since. Sis. Apopa believes that the greatest honor she will ever have in life is to be used of the Holy Spirit to bring souls into the Kingdom.
