Workshop Description

Christian Life Skills: Pastoral Care of Parents and Children

Demonstration Workshop

Bless My Kids & me ! (BMK) & Youth Battle Plan for Peace! (YBP)

This workshop provides an opportunity to observe, or participate as parent and child in order to experience the Christian Life Skills curriculum as a way of moving toward the pastoral care we all need.

Parents and children, ages 4 – 12, will be pre-selected to try out the parent-child curriculum that is designed to minister to both parent and child spiritually.

The goal for parents is: to equip parents to receive and live into the blessings and wisdom of God and to pass those blessings and wisdom on to their children through the exercise of personal discipline and example.

The goal for youth is: that they become equipped to do battle with the challenges they face, the prevailing culture and become strong in knowing how to discern and live as spiritually strong, godly children with a healthy, well balanced life.

Parents and children who are facing personal and family challenges are especially encouraged to attend.
