Workshop Description
21st Century Evangelism
As we encounter challenges and changes of the 21st Century, we recognize that some of the traditional approaches to evangelism will have to change in order to remain effective. Evangelism is the foundation on which churches thrive. Yet, this ministry is often the one that poses the greatest challenge for churches of all sizes and denominations. This workshop will take an in-depth look at some of these challenges and explore the opportunities that churches and Christian ministries have to reach people's hearts in their communities, workplaces, and homes. The workshop will go into some contemporary approaches to missions such as "web evangelism", “literacy evangelism”, “cross cultural evangelism” and others.
