Mrs. Arleen Swan has had over 28 years of experience in the field of social services and counseling holds a BSW, MSc in Counseling Education and Master’s of Art in Human Resource Development. Presently she works fulltime as a Senior School Counselor at the Berkeley Institute and is the consultant Executive Director of the Physical Abuse Centre. Her expertise in the area of domestic violence comes from over 17 years of experience coordinating a continuum of programs, services and leadership for the agency as they assist women and children in the Bermuda community who are victims of domestic violence. Program services also include a batterers program “Abuse Free” for persons identified as perpetrators of abuse. Added to the list of her accomplishments are traveling to Beijing, China to the NGO, Women’s Conference to represent PAC and Bermuda, and was a presenter on “Workplace Violence: Women the Primary Target ”Working Women’s Wellness Summit”, Breckenridge, Colorado, USA for the World of Wellness Institute.
